Job Purpose:

To plan, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the Financial Advisory Services Division. The individual will be responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the departmental operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

Job Outputs:

  • Develop operational plans and strategies for the life insurance business unit to effectively achieve business unit objectives
  • Responsible for implementing operational policies, workflow processes and performance standards with reference to: claims administration, policy administration and other core insurance processes
  • Identify and analyze risk associated with insurance environment and implement solutions
  • Responsible for all Key Individual functions
  • Compile business requirements for development, implementation and maintenance of systems
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with relevant external stakeholders
  • People Management ito recruitment, performance management and retention of employees


  • Matric
  • A qualification recognized by the Financial Services Board
  • Must have completed Regulatory Examination for Representatives
  • Regulatory Examination for Key Individuals will be an advantage
  • Must have a valid driver€™s license


  • 5 years€™ management experience within the Insurance Industry
  • Experience in Administration, Operational Processes & Procedures is essential

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of premium collections and commission payments
