Systems Engineer (EE)
Administer the software applications and ensure that they are up and running at all times and ensure that users have access to the relevant applications. Maintain the software applications and provide second line support. Proactively monitor the applications to ensure that the latest upgrades have been installed.
Ensure that all systems and services are operational and maintained.
Monitor the system performance daily against benchmarks or baseline standards.
System service pack updates and patch maintenance.
Systems configuration and set up according to requirements.
Incident- and change control management
Track incident trends ensuring pro-active availability and capacity of system.
Implement required changes on systems as approved.
Availability management planning according to business requirements and admin IT guidelines
System and service, implementation, optimization and administration
Server configurations, setup and maintenance
System configuration documentation
Project installations and onsite assignments
A+, N+, and MCP certification
MCSE, MSITP (or higher) preferred
Additional Microsoft qualifications
Code 8 drivers license
2 years experience in Microsoft server environments
2 years experience in Microsoft system center applications (SCOM, SCCM)
3 years technical experience in Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP, RDP
1 year technical experience in Microsoft applications (CRM, IIS, AX) (preferred)
2 years technical experience in Antivirus managed servers
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to work in a team
High level of problem solving and troubleshooting skills (server hardware and server software)
Customer service orientated
Willing to work overtime/be on standby when required
