Job Purpose:

To register new claims and to obtain information from insured or designated persons for purpose of submitting claims to insurance company for settlement.

Job Outputs:

Receive claim notifications from members and provide adequate support
Review insurance policy to determine coverage of the incident and refer to relevant person
Capture claim information
Explain claims process to the members and obtain supporting documents
Submit claims to the insurer for settlement and/or for further investigation
Liaise with member regarding Insurance Assist and other possible claims
Organise towing and emergency support where applicable

Qualifications:

Grade 12
Full NQF 4 qualification is anĀ advantage
Regulatory exam is an advantage

Experience:

6-12 months Contact Centre experience
6 months Short Term Insurance and Claims experience is an advantage

Knowledge and Skills:

Multilingual, including English

Computer literate (MS office including Outlook)

Excellent telephone etiquette

Empathetic

Ability to cope under pressure

Problem solving skills
