Job Purpose:

To establish and maintain business relationships with identified key customers, render support services to them and sell Commercial insurance products.

Job Outputs:

  • Source leads
  • Visit prospective clients
  • Complete a needs analysis
  • Complete a record of advice
  • Sell and write up new policies
  • Advise clients
  • Attend to customer enquiries, complaints and grievances
  • Contact new clients and underwrite policies
  • Issue new policies to clients
  • Data capturing
  • Ensure the establishment, maintenance and retention of new, existing and terminated relationships

 

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • 60 FAIS credits on NQF level 4 or a full qualification as per legislation
  • Regulatory exam

 

Experience:

2 years' applicable Commercial Insurance Sales experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Multilingual, including English
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Computer literate (MS office including Outlook)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Valid driver's licence
