Job Purpose:

To provide all aspects of desktop software and hardware (including peripherals) support and computer services to end users including the provision of remote support.

Job Outputs:

First line user support
First level fault resolution on desktop application, multifunctional devices and infrastructure
Vendor and third party incident management
Site visits and maintenance
Preventative maintenance
Projects (Ad hoc and Planned)
Management reporting

Qualifications:

Matric
MCTS/MCP/MCSA certification
MCITP: Server Administrator is advantageous or and/or MCDST
ITIL Foundations certificate is advantageous

Experience:

1 - 3 years relevant experience in a customer support environment

Knowledge and Skills:

The individual must be qualified to diagnose and repair problems on computer equipment with the ability to operate at a skill level where he/she can operate independently
