Job Purpose:

Iemas is looking for a qualified and experienced individual that will ensure the implementation of strategic and tactical sales strategies to increase the rates of acquisition, up- and cross-selling and retention of insurance policies. The focus is on increasing our footprint via an independent broker model and maximize sales.

Job Outputs:

€¢ Implementation of growth strategy framework
€¢ Implementation of an Independent Broker model
€¢ Leads creation through industry networks
€¢ Managing and achieving financial results
      New sales targets at least 180 000 GWP per month
      Existing business premium (R6000-R10000) driven through renewal- and upselling actions
      Retention (cxd ratio 1%)
      Renewals (increase of average premiums 7%-10%)
€¢ Design and execute on strategy to systemize all functions and policies
€¢ Knowledge and input into compliance, legislation and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

€¢ Post-school qualification relevant for Key Individual registration
€¢ Regulatory examination for Key Individual and Representative
€¢ Computer literacy (MS Office)
€¢ Valid Driver€™s license
€¢ Registered Key Individual

Experience:

€¢ 4 years€™ operational work experience in business insurance; and
€¢ 3 years€™ managerial work experience in business insurance

Knowledge and Skills:

€¢ Application knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Fica and FAIS
€¢ Financial acumen
€¢ Strong industry knowledge and engagement
€¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
€¢ Technical product knowledge
€¢ Knowledge of various distribution channels and marketing & product development strategies
